Once you get it clean, give it a good thourough wax job. it'll make getting the grime off easier the next time you clean it, and if you fish bago like i do, you need to clean it quite a bit.. I have been restoring a 14' klamath boat and i am happy with my paint job on the inside however it is the exterior of the hull that i want to clean up. i would like to restore it to it's original brite non painted aluminum look. there are little dark spots i would like to remove in addition to to making it brite and new looking.. As for the hull, jerry cooper of cooper's marine told me to use marykate aluminex pontoon & aluminum hull cleaner #3132 on the hull. the hull looks just like when i bought the boat four years ago after you clean it with the marykate product..
