New wooden sunfish tiller with extension. this assembly is designed for sunfish manufactured prior to 1973 and referred to as the "old style rudder/tiller" assembly. i also have the newer assembly lis.... How about just buy a block of wood and make your own? i did this on a buddys boat after he fell on his old tiller and broke it in half. i took the old one, put it back together as best as i could and laid it out on a peice of 2x8, traced it out and used a jig saw to cut it out.. 19 ft. fiberglass sailboat with wood interior. aluminum mast w/ wood boom. includes all sails, main, jib and spinnaker and wood rudder/tiller. fiberglass is sound, the wood needs to be refinished. floorboards have been 'stripped' and are ready to be stained and varnished. includes trailer.. Wooden tiller for unknown boat. very generic design, should fit just about any sailboat in the 18-30' range provided it mates with the rudder. varnish has definitely seen better days but the wood is still very structurally sound, no rot.. The tiller (entire product, really) is a work of art. moreover, it is substantial and adds a sense of safety and reliability. i will send along a couple of photos when the boat is launched again in the spring..
