Aruba is known for it's beautiful beaches. palm beach - a beautiful but busy beach with big hotels and casinos nearby. a walkway runs between the hotels and main beach. this area is the main tourist zone. take bus 10, 10a, or 10b from oranjested. eagle beach - considered one of the best beaches in the world and much quieter than palm beach.. Palm beach aruba, dutch caribbean palm beach is known for its white sand and calm waters, which tourist often take advantage of by using water sport concessions, snorkeling and diving. various. Eagle beach is closer to the cruise ship port than palm beah. on palm beach they have concessions where you can rent an umbrella and sun loungers. i would think eagle beach has the same. on palm beach the rentals were pretty reasonable, maybe $15 for an umbrella. they have signs on the beach with special deals for cruise ship passengers..
Hi, i have a couple of quick questions about palm beach... 1) how much will the cab fare be from the cruise port 2) i've read that all beaches in aruba are public.. Otherwise, if you want more activity, restaurants, beach bars, etc. to walk to then i would go to palm beach where you can rent chairs at moomba's beach bar or near the bugaloe pier bar by the radisson.. These are the local buses that will take you to either eagle beach or palm beach in aruba from the cruise port for $5 round trip. walk through the port gate, cross the street and buy a transit.
